Men generally don’t care that much about intelligence. They go for hotness - boobs, ass, whatever. Intelligence comes third, and that’s being generous.
Now, when it comes to relationships, men ask and women choose.
For women, they look at several factors before choosing and those factors include physique, experience, intelligence, wealth, etc. Women automatically calibrate all the variables and optimize for them all.
If you hold all the variables constant and adjust only for intelligence, women will immediately go for the man with higher intelligence. Men don’t optimize for intelligence, they optimize for boobs or ass or whatever.
In conclusion, men don’t go for women with inferior intelligence, it is women who go for men with superior intelligence. Therefore, your conclusion that men want to feel superior is only a fragment of your fragile imaginations.
