Looking forward to seeing Rodney back at @QPR during the 2026-27 season. 🤞 Both to celebrate the 60th anniversary of that unbelievable 1966-67 season and to receive an award for his @QPR legacy number. Rodney is @QPR legacy number 6️⃣0️⃣4️⃣ #QPR

Great news that the legendary @RodneyMarsh10 is going to receive his @England legacy cap in Tampa today. This is apt as Rodney has done so much for the game in that region. Have a great day, Rodney @QPR 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

@retroQPR I was friendly with Gary at the time but never would move from hoops to spurs….although I did go to the odd match with Peter Cooke …but that was for the commentary!

@QPR_Leviathan Another weird one, John I never knew that Daltrey was an Arsenal fan until I saw him on the pitch singing a song that he had written. "Highbury High" I think it was called. Not becoming of someone from Percy Road, W12!

@retroQPR I wonder what possessed him to do such a ridiculous thing huh Chris. What a chump. I remember reading that Roger Daltrey was an R’s fan until there was some crowd violence so stopped going to matches then started taking his son to Highbury so became a Gooner!

@Robin_Askwith It was a strange one, Robin. All of a sudden he turned up on the BBC at the 1991 FA Cup semi final professing his love for Spurs!

The biggest enticement that we have in trying to attract young talent to @QPR is that we have an example in what can be achieved. Gerry Francis ⭐ - from the youth team to captain of @England Gerry's name and image should be plastered everywhere at Loftus Road and Heston.

#OnThisDay 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ years ago 📅 1/5/1926 The great James 'Jimmy' Birch played his final first team game for @QPR. Scoring twice in a 3-2 win over Northampton Town at Loftus Road. Birch was 40 years old at the time, making him our oldest goalscorer of our Football League era.
