This upcoming season is going to huge for Urenas development. It's going to tell us whether or not he'll stick as a starter long term. I believe he will, but of all the Angels prospective pitchers to watch this might be the one with the most consequential 2026 ahead.

Walbert Urena has all the tools to be a Top 100 prospect: The 22-year old has pitched 8.2 IP to a 6.23 ERA, but: - 2.93 FIP - 5.9% BB% (career-low) - 37.3% Whiff% - 33.8% Chase% - 65.4% GB% Urena's 98.8 MPH vFA ranks second in Spring, only behind Carlos Lagrange.

NEWS: John Carpino, Arte Moreno’s right-hand man, has informed the Angels that he will retire as the team’s president, ending a 23-year run with the organization, according to sources. Molly Jolly, a longtime exec on the business side, will replace him April 6. More to come.

@Cardinals Losing to PR, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Japan or Korea would be understandable. Losing to Nicaragua though is embarrassing. No sane cardinal fan should expect this to be a playoff year, but this game is concerning. We might be Colorado or CHW bad 😳
