Runepixels implementing rank sum hiscores lets gooooo. I'm probably literally the only person who cares about this metric but was so fun to compete on rank sum in the early days of RS lmao. Will be cool to see who's still around.
@Davlahh GWD2 necro sigils would not drop for anyone with max gwd2 reputation which made the T90 tank tasks impossible, any reasonable amount of testing (or a cursory scroll through the rs wiki) would have prevented such an oversight
@Davlahh It released with glyphs that do literally nothing, quests that could not be completed, and t95 gear that could not be augmented, seems rushed to me, your experience may vary
@tijmenepix Inflating the numbers right before a potential sale is business 101, the extra short-term boost could mean the difference between a $900M and $1B offer
@rs___e No that's true but Necromancy and the Hero pass is ofcourse a fraction of what made it possible for jagex to be worth what it is now. Because it was sold in 2020.
@tijmenepix The game only becomes “worth more” if revenue increases, Jagex’ only tool to impact revenue is to change the game (ie, necromancy and hero pass)
@rs___e This has nothing to do with the game my guy, Jagex is owned by Chinese "Holding company" That means one the game is worth more it will be sold.
@rs___e Also not manipulate the polls, just add restrictions to help balance the throwing of polls. Due to spite voting, like the case of people logging on just to vote no that don’t actually play the game.
@whip2b I don’t understand your response, I’m former rank 10 rs3, I haven’t gained xp from lamps in almost a decade
I read your recent suggestion though, suggesting that jagex manipulate the polls even more in response to people protesting poll manipulation is a deeply questionable take
.@JagexRyan Hey, great work with Necromancy.
I may have found a gamebreaking issue - is it intended that necro hitsplats do not work with the explosive barrel?
How would you feel if we considered updating existing bosses to follow a similar scaling system to Raksha? Where the number of players in the instance determines the boss’s HP, and those players all receive a drop.
