On Mon Y8 students experienced a powerful & engaging assembly from @smashedproject exploring the risks & consequences of underage drinking, encouraging them to think carefully about the choices they make & the pressures they may face. Thanks to the cast for a memorable session.

Negative peer pressure pushes many youths into underage drinking, drugs, skipping school or making decisions they never would have chosen on their own. And while the crowd may cheer you on in the moment, they won’t be there to carry the consequences that follow. The strongest thing you can ever do is to stand firm. Real friends don’t pressure you to destroy your future, they support your dreams, respect your boundaries and walk with you in the right direction. Remember this: peer pressure is temporary, but the choices you make can last a lifetime.
