DC is the south. This argument that DC is not the south is from ignorance. The south is not all rural and country. But everything that DC is economically and socially, the south is. DC has more in common with Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville than Philly, NYC, Newark, Boston etc

Idk man. I don’t think Jamaicans count in regard separating black people from negro history in America. There’s a couple of powerful black history figures who lowkey Jamaican Malcom X being one.
