@ChrisDokish They have 4 legitimate hitters and that’s not even counting Griffin. This is arguably the best Pirates lineup since 1992.

The Pirates still need some fine tuning, but they just seem different this year. They’ve had some successful starts in the past when you just knew it was fleeting, but this team may be genuinely good.

@PanthersCulture Our fanbase needs to set a higher standard at QB. Bryce is exactly as good as the roster you put around him. He doesn’t consistently elevate the team. He still has 50 yard passing games. He’s not a franchise QB. Uncomfortable facts.

Bro, he’s not that great at avoiding the pass rush... I’m not big on drafting OT at 19, but we definitely need to protect Bryce. Just hope Walker is legit.

It’s crazy hearing pundits talk about how Ty Simpson’s height isn’t ideal…seemingly the biggest knock against him. On paper, he’s 3 inches taller than my QB.🥴 For Bryce to get picked 1st overall despite the height — in 2023 — given how evaluators evaluate truly outlier stuff

@PanthersCulture It’s probably the right call, but Morgan/Canales need to be open to the idea that the next two years they have a bridge QB, and search for alternatives. Hopefully Bryce’s play in 2026 makes them scrap that idea, but until then the search shouldn’t stop.

Bryce Young earned the 5th Year Option extension. That wasn’t always a sure thing. He flipped that.

Jalen Coker will be even better next year. Reminder that Dave Canales had that man running routes and catching balls from non NFLers in our 3rd preseason game. He is arguably the most trustworthy receiver on the team right now. And was then too.

Unanswerable Question: Would Carolina have been better off if the punt never got blocked? 4 min to go, down by 3, all three timeouts.
