@thecodercoder I turned off watch history so my default home screen is blank, and I only use the subscriptions tab now to, you know, see the content I actually subscribed to haha. 4 months into this, and I feel SO much better!

Was inspired by PewDiePie's vid to make my YouTube more minimal and remove the Homepage grid & shorts (I use the Stylus extension to add custom CSS) Homepage is blank so my only options now are the Subscriptions page or the search bar. Feels a lot cleaner, zero distractions.

If, like me, you don't want to see "Today's News" in your feed, here's CSS that will hide it for you (for now, at least). I use the Stylus extension to add custom CSS to sites and it's super effective. (actual code you can copy is in the alt text)
