You can use AI for an infinite number of things, you can genetically engineer for an infinite number of things. You can iterate on materials for an infinite number of things. Yet we as humans have real problems we're trying to solve real time frames to solve those problems 5/6 ⬇️

🍀@ozymandius_ on AI & OFP: OFP in a sense is relevant for any remote sensing/AI project trying to train data of forests around the world. I think that as we bring more data on chain, there'll be better opportunities for licensing & monetizing data for the training of AI 1/6 ⬇️

🍀 @ozymandius_ view on new credits(water, plastic): We're witnessing this conversation of realizing that nature has value. When we start to realize that, we're trying to tie the value of nature into other systems of value. Be it fiat currency or crypto or something else. 1/2 ⬇️

So a validator might use a sensing tool to see if there was a forest fire. Another validator might be in the local community & go check on it physically, so on. The 30 day time frame gives enough time to look at the data from enough angles to decide if it's legitimate & vote. 6/6

... and then every year thereafter that. These validators are not looking at data in isolation, they're looking at the historicity of the project combined with the other perspectives of what other validators are bringing. 5/6 ⬇️

Life of an @OpenForest_ Validator by @ozymandius_ : We deploy locked tokens to validators for 7 years. That means that they get free tokens to validate with & earn rewards from. They're required to stick around for seven years, do their job the right way & not degenerate. 1/6 ⬇️

Verra, Gold Standard, Pachama, remote sensing companies and and our own verticals all live harmoniously on Open Forest Protocol and the project operators have a robust market of solutions to choose from with differing tradeoffs of what kind of credit they end up creating 🍀 3/3

could build their own custom solution on #OFP in the same way as they're operating. Instead of that report being filed away in an analog file cabinet, on the verification network & protocol of OFP. So all can see what's verified, how many assets are created & where they go 🍀 3/3
