It's the end of the world in real time at my house. There's been no electricity since last night. Which now means there's no hot water, no heat pump, no fridge, no lights and no way to recharge any phone or laptop. But it won’t be. Instead most of the output will be split between Tesco (to power supermarkets) and Shell (to charge evs) after they did a deal with the solar farm owners in 2024) So they can look like they are hitting their net zero targets. Which means the town loses valuable farming land for absolutely no benefit to them at all that I can see!
