I just REMOVED a very annoying FREE tool on my website 📉 Traffic dropped to around 80–100 clicks/day. And I'm totally OKAY with that!! 🙌 90% of my OLD traffic was just trash. It only brought me 0 conversions + increased my server costs 💰 Now only focusing on high-intent pages 🎯

Got my first bots on Torquant! they hit the 5-workspace free limit, never sent a message, never ran a backtest. Not Google crawlers, they don’t sign up and verify email. Just someone (or a script) farming free accounts. Weird milestone, but I’ll take it. 😅

@ouzdor I feel so identified right now with your listed items, especially 1) and 2) during this first stage of building/shipping. btw, that Arabica coffee shop is a great place to build (when it's not crowded by turists) 🙂

If you want to ship a successful app, no one can hand you the formula. They can't compress years of trial and error into a 20-minute call or a few tweets. Every solo builder who made it had to: 1) Ship something imperfect 2) Not know if it would work 3) Obsess over retention and monetization anyway 4) Watch it flatline and nearly walk away 5) Stick around long enough for one metric to finally move 6) Stack enough reps to see patterns no tutorial ever taught Talking to other builders can spark your first few decisions, but there are still thousands more ahead, and they have to be yours.

@ouzdor that's amazing. congratulations! 200 subscribers right now sounds so far and unreal for me! But i'm just stating and enjoying this journey more than I thought I would.

I just hit 200+ active subscriptions across my apps! Not a huge number, but 200 strangers paying every month for something I built alone feels better than any corporate promotion ever did in my career.

@realSamerr Maybe your timeframe was too low? I agree day trading is harsh and full of noise. When you go up to daily timeframes, brief whale movements stop playing a big role. Unless you’re talking about coins with very low liquidity.

@torquant Yes I had a strategy and deep understanding of technical analysis of the chart. But all of this has nothing to do with the market whales.

@realSamerr Hey Samer thanks! Just crypto at the moment but stock markets are in the roadmap. If you’re new to trading/have no strategy in mind, just click on the “I’m new to this. Guide me” pill under chat input and you’ll be guided step by step to build and backtest your first strategy.
