@unknownuserz024 Yo!!! How you been? Also, I only got diagnosed in January. I had surgery in February and now I'm cancer free. It all happened in like a two month span. Easy to miss.

If Bernie’s Social Security bill was enacted in 2021, Musk would’ve paid $2.9 billion more in taxes, Social Security would’ve been solvent for 75 years, benefits would’ve gone up by $2,400 & 93% would’ve paid $0 more in taxes.

My boomer dad retired at 62.
Full pension.
Paid off house.
Medicare at 65.
Social security at 67.
Told me at Thanksgiving, I just need to be more disciplined with my money,
I make $71,000.
Rent is $1,900.
I have $4,000 in savings.
I didn't say anything.
I passed the rolls.
But here's what i wanted to say:
Your pension was defunded by lobbyists your generation elected.
Your social security is solvent because mine is still paying in.
Your houseis worth $800,000 because mine costs $600,000.
You didn't build differently.
You just got there first.

I love this post.
Because it very clearly demonstrates how one-dimensional the MAGA mind has become and how thoroughly personal bias has replaced basic reasoning.
Among people with normal, non-cult-adjacent cognitive function, it is genuinely not complicated to understand that someone can live one way while supporting other people's right to live a different way.
Psychologists will be studying this mindset for decades.

What I find interesting about the Newsoms is that they both relentlessly promote liberal/left ideologies that are corrosive to family formation and undermine traditional values. However, at the same time, they've been in a heterosexual marriage for 20+ years and have 4 children together. By those measures, they are more "trad" in terms of their own lifestyle than most Americans are, even a lot of conservatives aren't married with 4 kids. So what that tells me is the Newsoms KNOW that the traditional family model is the best; that's why they chose it when they both could've chosen anything else. But as elites they still promote insidious ideologies that end up harming the ordinary people who listen to them. It's a perfect illustration of "luxury beliefs."
