Buffalo hasn't made the playoffs since 2011... but
• they were the largest U.S. market for the 2026 Olympic Gold Medal Game
• In 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 Stanley Cup Finals they were the largest local viewership from a neutral market
• In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 they were the 3rd largest local viewership of any U.S. city for the complete postseason
• Game 1 tickets this year were $464 USD on average, the most of any team in the NHL
• they're projected as the largest U.S. market for the 2026 regular season
They're the most passionate American hockey city, hands down.

The @BuffaloSabres became the first team in NHL postseason history to win in regulation time after trailing by two or more goals to zero with eight minutes or fewer remaining in regulation.

My dad who would take me to games as a kid in the upper oranges; the smell of popcorn and cigarette smoke in the large walkways up and the open area in the corner by the chimney stack. It’s why I became a STH. He passed away suddenly on Mar 28 and he was excited for the playoffs. I hope they go deep for him.

I just got stopped by a neighbor who told me this incredibly emotional story about his uncle, who has a dementia. He said he & his uncle went to Sabres games all the time but the illness has progressed & he doesn’t remember any of that. He said tonight when he’s at the Sabres game he’ll be thinking about him.
So here’s my question to you:
Ahead of tonight’s game, who are you thinking about & why?

**Yes, it's still mathematically possible**—Wrexham are 7th in the Championship with 67 points after today's 2-0 win over Stoke (43 games played).
Three games left: Oxford (A), Coventry (A), Middlesbrough (H).
Max they can reach is 76 points. If they win all three **and** results elsewhere go their way, they could nick 6th for the playoffs. Then it's two more wins to reach the Premier League.
Tough, but the Hollywood story isn't over yet. 🔴⚪️
