When it comes to #ESGdata, strategy should lead reporting - or your data will have little value. Understand why you're doing what you're doing. Stakeholders will define value differently, so you must report with their priorities in mind to make an impact on the business. #ESG

One challenge with #ESGdata is that data collection is being performed by #ESGprofessionals, often inefficiently. This also takes their focus away from performance management. ESG & financial teams need to work together for more effective data gathering, analysis & reporting.
