Italy is also a democracy like India. Millions don't like and didn't vote PM Meloni in Italy. Yet, when Trump recently made a silly remark about Meloni "begging to take pics with him", the whole country, including opposition, have stood behind her. Nobody is mocking her using Trump's comments. Nobody is saying she has made Italy look weak. None in Italy is taking the side of Trump mocking their PM for some silly political gratification.
