@EmilyCWaldon 21 years post thyroid cancer surgery and treatment, still have those bad days and days I wish more than anything I could have someone else “normal" I hope you can find something that helps make it through, the rough ones always hit harder but they are not the majority!

Someone asked if I ever have a bad day. I do. Today was one. I cried multiple times. Frustrated, sad from thinking about my new normal. But you know what? I’m grateful that I get to share my journey. Grateful that someone in a similar position may see it and be reminded that there is still reasons for joy and hope, even in the heaviest and darkest moments. That’s something cancer can never take from me. We can do hard things. Don’t ever let yourself forget that.

$324 for a balloon arch is mad reasonable. I don't discuss it as much these days, but I have a background in nightlife and events. A balloon arch can cost as much as $1,000. $2,600 catering is cheap. $217 for a cake is a steal. Somebody doesn't know the typical market for this.

@DetroitOnLion I think their trust in finding their guys in the 2nd and later rounds, and success in doing that, is amazing. But those trades also aren’t the lighthouse I’d like guiding my team. Yeah a Super Bowl would be amazing but not all those trades worked out as most of us are imagining

Lions franchise absolutely needed their first round picks to kick off rebuild. They were in no position to trade their 1st rounders for vets through at least 2023. You could argue they should've been more aggro last 2 years, but Rams' strategy is pretty unique in its success.
