@jabo_vancouver I’m not sure keeping Rutherford and the same operations people will change a whole lot. Alvin didn’t make those bad decisions by himself in a vacuum. So question in my head is: Why is Rutherford sticking around still? He is to blame for this year’s fiasco as much as anyone else🤷🏽‍♂️

I think the question for Jim Rutherford is quite simple. How can you expect to hire the best candidate for the GM position if there's the spectre of you looming over their head, ready to take control, at any moment? What good candidate wants to work in that environment? #Canucks

Sounds like there were no real offers for Evander Kane. Perhaps the Canucks could have gotten a similar return to Kampf for Blueger but elected to hold on to him
