I disagree with urban progressives on almost all issues but arch-nimby, moderate urbanism is a horrific ideology.
Given that the progressive here is at least open to some housing I'd consider voting for her if I was an Angeleno.

I’d argue it’s the opposite. A tenant protections platform appeals to low info voters. Focusing on supply is actually the riskier, albeit correct, strategy.
I’m surprised so many housing advocates don’t recognize this messaging as an effort to build a bigger tent.
