All of the Detroit wealth didn't disappear. It just got transfered to the suburbs. Detroit has some of the nicest suburbs in America.

Third-world migrants are seriously out here telling Canadians that we don't deserve Canada and that our country isn't real because we are colonizers and settlers.
What they are really saying is "your people built and developed Canada, therefore you don't deserve to live in it."

My observation is that immigrants in California are not overtly hostile and are often affable in basic interactions yet immigrations has still destroyed social cohesion.
