🇮🇷 Iran attacked 9 countries today Strikes and threats hit Israel, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and more, with key energy sites directly targeted. Qatar’s Ras Laffan hub was hit, while multiple Gulf facilities are now evacuating ahead of expected strikes. This is a direct escalation aimed at the global energy system. Why it matters: oil, gas, and global markets are now in the line of fire, and this can spiral fast. What this does is put immense pressure on all the Gulf states and the West, leading more countries to refuse to take part in this war. Source: @rami_hashimi

@MarioNawfal Trump is now approved by 100% of MAGA. And MAGA has gone from 28% of the country on election day, to 30% of the country today. The war is making him popular with the American People.

The 'Friends to All' era in the Gulf is officially over. Seeing Qatar declare Iran’s military attaché persona non grata after the Ras Laffan strike is a massive diplomatic shift. Iran is betting on economic coercion, but it might just be driving the GCC and Israel into a permanent alliance.

playing the energy card is just a final dance of death and a desperate blackmail to choke the world, they think striking the nerve of the economy will force the west to its knees and change the rules of the game, but whoever sows the wind will inevitably reap the whirlwind, do you expect the international community to bow to this blatant blackmail or turn the tables with a knockout blow that ends this absurdity and stops the madness

Wild escalation on day 19 Iran hitting energy across 9 countries feels like a calculated economic counterpunch after the South Pars & refinery strikes. Ras Laffan damage alone is massive for global LNG; Brent at $110+ and climbing fast is already hurting Asia hardest. Hormuz choke + ally foot-dragging (Spain/France blocking US access) screams forced de-escalation play… but at what cost? Do you think this forces a ceasefire soon, or just drags us deeper? Stay safe out there 🚀🌍

The Ras Laffan number that matters: QatarEnergy operates roughly 77 million tonnes per year of LNG capacity there, approximately 20% of total global LNG trade. The IEA's strategic reserve release is crude oil. It does not substitute for LNG. These are separate supply chains with separate infrastructure. The Gulf is losing oil throughput and LNG export capacity simultaneously. The IEA tool addresses one of those.

@MarioNawfal For decades Arab states in the Persian Gulf tried to side with Israel & the US. Over the last few weeks they were complicit with the US military and allowed their air and land to be used against Iran, while they were hit and felt the pain, they still continue with this narrative

@MarioNawfal Iran escalates. Oil risk rises. Allies step back. And Trump’s answer is the same tired TACO script. The problem is: that routine only works when the other side is afraid of the performance. This time, the performance looks weak, and the weakness is visible.

Trump knew this would happen when he targeted Iranian oil and gas facilities. What else did he expect? Iran is being struck from U.S. bases across the Gulf, and it now views these host countries as legitimate targets. We are witnessing the region being dragged into an unpredictable war with no clear end in sight

@MarioNawfal Eh...I don't see it as an escalation. It's more of a response to the escalation from Israel attacking Iran's gas fields.

Iran's strikes are a bold, necessary response to years of aggression and encirclement by hostile powers backed by the West. By targeting energy hubs, they're smartly disrupting the economic lifelines of their adversaries, forcing a rethink on endless wars. This isn't escalation—it's self-defense, and Iran has every right to protect its sovereignty. Stand with Iran against imperialism!

This is exactly the kind of strategic escalation that can reshape the region almost overnight. Iran hitting multiple countries and key energy hubs isn’t just retaliation, it’s a coordinated effort to pressure the global energy system. By targeting Ras Laffan and other Gulf facilities, they’re signaling that any further moves against them carry direct economic consequences, which ripple far beyond the battlefield. From a war strategy perspective: 🏹 Multi-front strikes force defensive resources to stretch thin, testing coordination and response times. 🏹 Energy disruption leverages global markets as a tool of coercion, compelling foreign powers to weigh involvement carefully. 🏹 Psychological and political pressure builds on Gulf states and the West, potentially slowing or fracturing coalition responses. At this pace, the conflict is evolving from a localized regional exchange into a global strategic stress test, where economics, military capability, and diplomacy are all being tested simultaneously. The next moves will likely hinge on how quickly the Gulf and allied powers can adapt without triggering wider escalation.
