@natjin oooo ty for the alpha I will be leveraging this for all future content creation
English

@natjin yeah that's real alpha, finally seeing llm guts at scale!!
English

She’s right. It is a super-weapon.
That’s the problem.
If you can see what LLMs retrieve and cite at scale, so can the people trying to poison it. A compromised high-citation page doesn’t just mislead one user — it corrupts every downstream answer that references it. Simultaneously.
AEO/GEO companies are building maps of the most influential content on the internet. That’s also a targeting list.
Every “citation surface” you optimize is an asset an attacker can hijack to inject manipulated data into 200M+ daily queries.
The alpha isn’t just yours.
English

@natjin Why would the best AEO/GEO companies focus on Perplexity, which is only the - checks notes - 7th largest LLM-based search and answer engine?
English

@natjin using perplexity's search API to see what actually gets retrieved instead of guessing by prompting LLMs is the difference between reading the scoreboard and asking the ref what he thinks the score might be. real data beats prompt testing every time. good signal.
English

@natjin real alpha, but don't kid yourself, most agents still barely get it. they're just chasing shiny objects while the rest of us grind it out. use the window while you can, it won't last
English

@natjin using Perplexity's search API as a structured data extraction tool is clever. it returns clean contextualised results instead of raw HTML which saves hours of parsing
English

@natjin Do you work for Perplexity? This seems like an undisclosed ad… 😏
English

@natjin wait this is actually genius
never thought about using the search api to reverse engineer what's getting surfaced vs just hoping your content shows up
English

@natjin Awesome! Just loaded this into my AEO/GEO/SEO strategy stack. Thanks!
English

@natjin interesting.. so they find out which pages are being ranked on llms and they write similar ones with better domain-rating, exactly like google seo?
English

@natjin Nat you would like this new outcome based marketing tool, Perplexity is in the AI SEO list x.com/startuphubai/s…
