wow so elon is training a 10T grok model to beat anthropic. ~$1.5+ billion cost 👀 xai should have a claude mythos-level model in ~4 months they’re also training 6 other models (1-6T size) SIMULTANEOUSLY how? colossus 2 - the largest ai training site in the world. $18B worth of gpus anthropic made 1 thing clear - more compute = better ai model, and elon is the owner of the most compute in the world right now - scaling aggressively. very bullish next grok model
Elon Musk@elonmusk

SpaceXAI Colossus 2 now has 7 models in training: - Imagine V2 - 2 variants of 1T - 2 variants of 1.5T - 6T - 10T Some catching up to do.

I spent the last few weeks trying to figure out why @TaborRobak Human Resources feels so different from the 2021 PFP meta... First, The Fatness Problem... x.com/Sonoflasg/stat… Then, the realisation that we’re still collecting with the wrong heuristics... x.com/Sonoflasg/stat… Today, I’m going deeper into the system... 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒙𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒂𝒃𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒑’𝒔 𝑨𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈. It’s not about finding yourself in the art. It’s about decoding the system that’s already there. Link in 🧵

A Bored Ape might look like a king. But he has no kingdom. Most PFPs aren’t identities. They’re costumes. Human Resources flips that. It gives you a role inside a system. That’s the difference between looking like something and being something. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎: 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝑷𝑭𝑷𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒂 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 @TaborRobak's Human Resources changes what a PFP can be... So, let me get this straight. The $280m Drift hack took six months of: - Attending crypto conferences. - Meeting the team in person. Multiple times. - Depositing $1M of their own capital to build trust. - Sharing a GitHub link. The biggest DeFi exploit of the year started at a networking event with complimentary drinks.

Imagine this scaled up: Human brain cells not just playing doom and pong, but inferencing and fine-tuning LLMs and powering agentic workflows. Complex architectures of lab grown biological neurons going through forced endless reading of the internet, constant error ‘punishment’ via backprop, reward/punishment shaping via reinforcement learning. Kinda creepy 😬

Would you buy one?

As many of you probably know, over the past couple of weeks my account has been completely taken over by @Tabcorp_HR. Here is why. I’ve been in this space for more than five years now, and I won’t deny that, especially recently, I’ve been tempted to walk away. Not because prices were going down, that never really mattered to me, but because I was struggling to find meaning in what I was collecting. With very few exceptions, NFTs have slowly turned into an endless stream of works with little to say. The initial wave mattered, and still matters, because the medium itself was new. After that, very little managed to carry either real artistic weight or innovation. Then… I came across an email from @verse_works and @solos_gallery inviting me to mint a free NFT by @TaborRobak. An artist I had admired long before this. And suddenly, something clicked. Instinctively, without even thinking, I bought the PFP you see as the first of many pieces that would follow. I saw an idea, a project that takes the form of a PFP collection to tell us something very serious about ourselves: That while we were distracted collecting fictional characters, we failed to realize that the PFPs are us. Human beings traded as collectibles within the corporate system. Bought because potentially promising, held when profitable, celebrated when successful, and mass-flipped when we are no longer needed. Whether we are interns, delivery riders, engineers, factory workers, tech managers, or airline pilots, we are all assets in the hands of the market. Ready to be dumped when our cycle ends. Until we disappear, like my PFP. Human Resources is us, and someone came along to remind us of that. And that is why I believe this collection is one of the most important ever.

@m44444nu @TaborRobak @Tabcorp_HR It’s the most original and fun NFT collection of this cycle. Once you start to build lore for these characters, it’s hard to let go. Genius!

It’s wild to see the Nouns floor price go from 150 ETH to just 0.5 ETH. Letting 56% of your holders drain the treasury might go down as the worst DAO experiment in history.
