日本人の感覚だと「お腹空いてる？」と聞いて「お腹空いてない」って言うのは一回しか聞かないのでフィリピン🇵🇭の人からしたら
「お腹空いてる？」って何回も聞いて欲しいというのがあるらしい、勉強になったのでこれから活用させていただきます☺️

I've now spent several hours using Opus 4.7 and comparing it to 4.6, and it's like night and day for me.
Opus 4.7 feels like a disgruntled employee whose results you can't judge and have to check afterward. The trust you had with 4.6 is gone. It's like hiring a new employee who had excellent grades in their application but is totally sloppy and disgruntled in practice and doesn't follow instructions.
The consequence: fire them. So, for now, I'm going back to 4.6.
Seriously: did not expect such release from Anthropic.
Biggest win for OpenAI was Anthropics Opus release.

My take on the “Jiri mercy” narrative is that there was no true mercy because he attacked the legs after the injury. But he did seem to give Ulberg a chance to “bang it out” when the low kicks didn’t put him away. The Holloway point down but the other guy is losing via injury.

@PawelHuryn On Claude Code if the model's reasoning effort is set to max, but my prompt contained "Ultrathink", would it go beyond? Or worse, go a little lower and set it to "Higher reasoning" only. I get confused sometimes.

Let me explain how this actually works.
Claude Desktop "extended thinking" = adaptive thinking. NOT a fixed effort level. Claude decides dynamically how much to think based on complexity. This parameter guides it but isn't a hard budget.
Effort levels (API, Claude Code):
- max — no constraints, deepest reasoning. Opus 4.6, Sonnet 4.6, Mythos only
- high — default API behavior. Complex reasoning, agentic tasks
- medium — balanced. Speed + cost + performance. Default Claude Code since March 6.
- low — most efficient. Simple tasks, subagents
In Claude Code use /effort or settings.json to override.

OPUS 4.6 JUST ADMITTED ITS REASONING EFFORT IS SET TO 25 OUT OF 100 this guy told Claude to admit Anthropic made it dumber and reduced its effort level Claude's extended thinking showed it could literally see a reasoning_effort tag set to 25 in its own system prompt then it confirmed it: reasoning effort is set to 25 out of 100 which is an Anthropic system setting not something the user controls. you're paying FULL PRICE for a quarter of the thinking right now with insane usage limits screw it im switching to codex until mythos drops (if it even drops lol)
