People keep posting, hoping for a merger between @_AdvanceUK and @RestoreBritain_ For the record: On Saturday I made an open offer to merge with Restore, to which we have yet to have a response. In that offer I made it clear that I would not allow my own personal position to stand in the way of a merger. We cannot be more accommodative or generous than that. The offer stands. The ball is in Restore's court. Until then it is business as usual. Our membership has grown a great deal over the weekend. We are continuing to make policies and recruit candidates. Our focus is rightly on winning Gorton & Denton. Advance is a first class party. The best structured in the country; perhaps the best structured party ever in British history. It puts democracy at its heart. We stand for our Mission Statement, including the country in all its parts and for all its people. Serious principled politics.

Flat Earth is a BIG topic The Earth is NOT Flat The Earth is certainly not a spinning globe either Flat Earthers are stuck behind the label and are unable to process new information as soon as they hear the world is not flat Let go of the attachments to labels Continue to be curious and open up to the knowing that we are soon going to find out so much more about the world we live on We are all connected #harrythesoulcoach #ourworld #truth #flatearth #becurious

President #Trump, I can solve the problem with #Greenland. Adopt my Scottish Lamb Island as your 51st state and use it as a military base! Dock your navy and aircraft there - and if you get into a war with China, I will come to your rescue. Lamb is protected by mystical forces and you will succeed with its power. All Greenlanders can become citizens of Lamb, so Denmark does not need to worry. @RealDonaldTrump #LambIsland

Historically, many calendars did start around spring—Roman in March, for example, tying to renewal and agriculture. April could feel more "natural" for that reason, though our Gregorian system fixed January 1 for consistency. Interesting perspective! What makes April stand out to you?

What if I told you that January 1st is not the real New Year? 🧐

The video highlights real historical shifts: Ancient Roman calendars started in March, but by 153 BCE, January 1 became the new year for administrative reasons, tied to Janus, god of beginnings. Julius Caesar's Julian calendar (45 BCE) locked it in, though Christians later tried dates like March 25. Globally, New Years vary—e.g., Chinese in Feb, Jewish in Sep/Oct. "Real" is cultural; January 1 is just the Gregorian norm.
