BREAKING: Scott Pelley Just Made A Pretty Stunning Allegation. According to Pelley, CBS leadership wanted a story about the killing of ICE protester Renée Good changed to better match Trump's version of events. Pelley says he was told management wanted protesters portrayed as more violent and wanted Good described as driving toward the officer who shot her. He says the video evidence showed otherwise. Then came the admission. "There was a thumb on the scale for the president's version of events." A veteran journalist with 37 years at CBS is alleging political pressure was applied to change the facts of a story. That's a remarkable accusation.

🚨 JUST IN: Democrats have surged to an 82% chance of taking back the House. That's near the highest level of the cycle. The significance is the direction. Every point higher means the market is becoming more convinced that voters are moving away from the party currently in power. First came falling approval numbers. Then came special election warning signs. Now comes an 82% probability of a House flip. The trend is getting harder to ignore.

🚨 This Was The Most Revealing Exchange In Hegseth’s 60 Minutes Interview. Pete Hegseth defended the new Iran agreement by saying the document guarantees Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, never seek one, and never obtain one. Then came Brennan’s response: The Obama-era JCPOA said that too. Notice what happened next. Hegseth didn’t argue that Brennan was wrong. He didn’t say the provision was new. Instead, he argued the difference was that this agreement was negotiated “from a position of strength.” Not whether Iran promised not to build a nuclear weapon. Both sides appear to agree similar language existed before. The disagreement is whether military pressure and leverage make this agreement more durable than the one Trump withdrew from.

NEW: This Is A Pretty Stunning Endorsement. Dan Cogdell didn't just work with Ken Paxton. He defended him. Cogdell served on Paxton's impeachment defense team and was also involved in his criminal case. Now he's backing Paxton's opponent. And his explanation was blunt. According to Cogdell, Texas faces major challenges in education, healthcare, maternal health, and public safety. His criticism is that Paxton has become too focused on national politics and Donald Trump rather than the people of Texas. Political opponents criticizing Ken Paxton isn't news. One of the lawyers who spent years defending him doing it is.

BREAKING: This Is A Pretty Stunning Claim. Marjorie Taylor Greene says Donald Trump once told her that some of his friends would be hurt if the Epstein files were fully released. Greene pointed to new reporting alleging that the biggest obstacle to broader disclosure was not the Justice Department. Not the FBI. But Trump himself. Think about the significance. For years, the debate centered on what was in the files. Now the debate is shifting toward who wanted them released and who didn't. The controversy is no longer just about Jeffrey Epstein. It's becoming a fight over the handling of the information itself.

BREAKING: Cory Booker Just Summed Up His Criticism Of Trump's Iran Strategy In One Sentence. "The Strait of Hormuz was open before he started this ill-conceived war." Think about that. The administration is now touting the reopening of one of the world's most important shipping lanes as a major achievement. Booker's response? It was already open. According to Booker, Americans have spent months paying higher prices, tens of billions of taxpayer dollars have been committed, and U.S. service members have lost their lives. Now the White House is presenting the restoration of the pre-war status quo as a victory.

BREAKING: Hakeem Jeffries Just Delivered A Brutal Assessment Of Trump's Iran Strategy. Jeffries says Trump has now declared the war was about to end 38 or 39 different times. And each time, the fighting continued. Then he pointed to a series of other predictions. Trump said Iran's nuclear program had been completely decimated. Trump said the Iranian regime was on the brink of collapse. Trump said an agreement was imminent. According to Jeffries, none of those predictions materialized. Then came the bigger argument. While Washington debated victory, Americans watched gas prices climb and the conflict drag on.

BREAKING: Tensions Are Escalating In Albania. After days of protests over a controversial luxury resort project, demonstrators in Rrjoll, northern Albania, tore down fencing surrounding the construction site. Protesters say land belonging to roughly 200 local families was confiscated to make way for the development. The confrontation comes as environmental and anti-corruption demonstrations continue to spread across the country. This is no longer just a dispute over a resort. It’s becoming a broader fight over land rights, political influence, and who benefits from Albania’s development boom.

BREAKING: This Is A Pretty Stunning Contradiction. In June, the administration repeatedly described Iran's nuclear infrastructure as "obliterated." Now comes a different reality. According to international monitors cited by 60 Minutes, Iran still possesses more than 970 pounds of near-bomb-grade uranium. That's enough material to keep the nuclear question very much alive. Then came Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's response. Rather than arguing the threat no longer exists, Hegseth focused on ensuring Iran's nuclear ambitions are never achieved and refused to rule out future military options. Think about what that means. If the program was truly eliminated, the conversation would be over. Instead, officials are still talking about preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. That's because the story has shifted from what was destroyed to what remains.

BREAKING: An Economics Professor Just Made A Pretty Stunning Argument About Elon Musk. According to the professor, Musk spent roughly $250 million during the 2024 election cycle. He claims that's just 0.025% of Musk's wealth. In other words, the amount spent was so small relative to Musk's fortune that he could theoretically spend the same amount thousands of times over. That's a democracy question, not just a money question.

BREAKING: The Name Is Gone. But That's Not The Most Important Part. For months, defenders of the Kennedy Center renaming argued the vote was legitimate. Then the facts started piling up. Rep. Joyce Beatty says she was muted when she tried to object. The Kennedy Center's own governing statute names it after President John F. Kennedy. A federal judge ruled the board lacked the authority to rename it. The appeals court refused to stop the order. And now Trump's name has been physically removed from the building. That's what makes this story so remarkable. The debate didn't end because critics complained. It ended because the legal justification collapsed. The name went up through a board vote. It came down through a court order. Read the full breakdown: Trump Named It. A Judge Unnamed It. The Board That Voted Was Never Fully Heard. allenanalysis.com/article/trump-…

NEW: A Leaked Riley Gaines Video Is Raising Some Awkward Questions. Gaines has spent years building a national profile as a conservative activist, speaking passionately about issues like abortion, religious liberty, free speech, and women’s rights. She presents those positions as deeply held convictions. But in newly surfaced footage, Gaines appears to stop before a promotional recording and ask Patriot Mobile representatives: “Wait, tell me the pillars again.” The representatives then walk her through the organization’s core political priorities, including pro-life advocacy, the First Amendment, and the Second Amendment. Moments later, she launches into a polished endorsement. How much of political influencer culture is conviction and how much is branding?

NEW: This Is A Pretty Stunning Pattern. According to CNN, Trump has now claimed some version of an imminent deal with Iran at least 38 times since the conflict began. Not once. Not twice. Thirty-eight times. Trump spoke of victory. He spoke of a deal being close. He spoke of final documents. He spoke of an agreement taking shape. Hours later, new strikes were reported. Then Iranian officials publicly denied key parts of Trump's account and disputed claims that a deal was effectively at hand. Not whether a deal eventually happens. It's that the promise of a deal keeps arriving long before the deal itself.

BREAKING: Democrats Just Escalated The Epstein Fight To The Highest Levels Of The White House. Rep. Robert Garcia says new reporting shows Vice President J.D. Vance was directly involved in internal discussions about how the administration should respond to the Epstein controversy. According to Garcia, those discussions weren't happening in a political war room. They were happening in the Situation Room. The same facility normally used for national security crises and military operations. Garcia claims Vance, Susie Wiles, Todd Blanche, Kash Patel, and other senior officials were involved in meetings focused on the Epstein fallout and how to protect the president politically. He says that's why he now wants Vance questioned directly. First the questions were about the files. Then they were about the Attorney General. Now they're about the Vice President of the United States.

JUST IN: This Is A Pretty Stunning Detail From The Kennedy Center Fight. Rep. Joyce Beatty says she was the only board member who tried to stop Trump's name from being placed on the Kennedy Center. According to Beatty, the proposal wasn't even on the agenda. She says she joined remotely, attempted to object, and was muted before she could make her case. Beatty challenged the move in court, arguing the Kennedy Center's governing law did not allow the institution to be renamed after Trump. This week, a federal judge agreed and ordered Trump's name removed. Tonight, workers are physically taking it down. That's the story. Not just that Trump's name is coming off the building. That the board member who says she was silenced ended up winning in court.
