Round two. My topic: America practices strict capitalism for the poor—and open socialism for the wealthy. If you’re struggling: “Figure it out.” “Work harder.” “No handouts.” If you’re powerful: Bailouts. Tax breaks. Subsidies. Same system. Different rules. Strict for the poor. Soft for the rich.

Trump is now reportedly responsible for roughly 27.7% of the entire U.S. national debt accumulated under all presidents combined. That is an astonishing figure historically. The national debt just crossed $39 trillion. President Trump has added roughly $12–13 trillion to the debt across his two terms in office. That’s approximately 30% of ALL U.S. national debt accumulated since 1789. In 2016, Trump said he would pay down the national debt “over a period of eight years.” Instead: - First term: +$7.8 trillion - Second term: roughly +$4–5 trillion already And yes, COVID affected first-term spending. It does not explain adding another trillion dollars every five months without a pandemic. A political movement built on: “fiscal conservatism” “small government” “balanced budgets” has now overseen the largest debt expansion tied to any single presidency in American history.

JD Vance says Trump isn’t sitting in the Oval Office “on Robinhood” personally trading stocks. Which… is not actually the question people are asking. The issue is whether people connected to presidential power are financially benefiting from policy decisions, market-moving announcements, or privileged timing around government action. Nobody seriously thinks Trump is day trading meme stocks between Situation Room briefings. The concern is influence, access, timing, and who profits around the machinery of power.

Megyn Kelly just unloaded on Trump’s personal history, bringing up Ivana Trump’s past allegations, his affairs, and questions about his faithfulness to Melania. What makes this notable isn’t just the substance. It’s WHO is saying it. Megyn Kelly spent years inside conservative media while all of this was already public: the affairs, the allegations, the chaos, the tabloid history, all of it. None of this information appeared out of thin air in 2026.

His verbatim, to Forbes: “I sold my users’ privacy to a larger benefit. I made a choice and a compromise. And I live with that every day.” That same year, he tweeted: “It is time. #deleteFacebook.” The Texas lawsuit is an allegation. The Acton quote is a confession. Both are now on the public record.(4/4)

Bloomberg reported in April that a Commerce Department investigator concluded there was “no limit” to the type of WhatsApp messages Meta could access. 3.3 billion users worldwide use WhatsApp. In 2018, WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton walked away from $850 million in unvested Facebook stock and left the company. 🧵THREAD: On Thursday, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton sued Meta and WhatsApp. The allegation: WhatsApp’s promise that “not even WhatsApp” can read your messages is false. From the lawsuit verbatim: “WhatsApp and its parent company, Meta, have access to virtually all of WhatsApp users’ purportedly ‘private’ communications.” (1/4)

BREAKING: Iran has reportedly rejected claims of a “final understanding” with the U.S. and denied reports of a 60-day ceasefire extension, according to Iranian and regional media outlets. Iranian officials reportedly told the Pakistani delegation there would be no compromise on what Tehran calls the “rights of the nation,” while IRGC-linked messaging is now openly warning of a possible “decisive confrontation” with the U.S. Iran is also denying reports that it proposed a 10-year uranium enrichment suspension, calling those claims “completely fabricated.” That matters because for the last 24 hours markets and diplomats were operating under the assumption that some kind of off-ramp might be forming. Now the messaging coming out of Tehran sounds very different. Which means the entire situation may be shifting back toward escalation instead of de-escalation.
