I’ve been a little quiet on social media since returning to Malaysia in August to take up my new role as Undersecretary of the Americas Division, as work has kept me fully occupied. Heartfelt thanks to the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Monsignor Miroslaw Adamczyk, Apostolic Nuncio to Argentina, for hosting a farewell lunch for me and my family on my final day here. A truly special gesture and a memory we will always cherish!

Mi más sincero agradecimiento al Decano del Cuerpo Diplomático, Monseñor Miroslaw Adamczyk, Nuncio Apostólico en Argentina, por ofrecernos un almuerzo de despedida a mi familia y a mí en mi último día aquí. Un gesto verdaderamente especial y un recuerdo que siempre atesoraremos!

I also paid a farewell call on Uruguay’s Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries, H.E. Alfredo Fratti @AlfredoFratti, at his office @MGAPUruguay. We discussed potential areas of cooperation, including the use of drone technology. I believe Malaysia and Uruguay can complement each other in advancing the agriculture and livestock sectors.

También realicé una visita de cortesía de despedida al Ministro de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca de Uruguay, S.E. Alfredo Fratti @AlfredoFratti, en su despacho @MGAPUruguay. Conversamos sobre posibles áreas de cooperación, incluyendo el uso de tecnología de drones. Creo que Malasia y Uruguay pueden complementarse mutuamente para avanzar en los sectores agrícola y ganadero.

During my farewell call on Uruguay’s Vice Minister Valeria Csukasi in Montevideo last month, I expressed my confidence that under her leadership, relations between 🇲🇾 and 🇺🇾, as well as 🇺🇾 and ASEAN, will continue to flourish. Having previously served as Uruguay’s Ambassador to Malaysia, she shares a strong connection with our region.

Durante mi visita de despedida a la Vicecanciller de Uruguay, Valeria Csukasi @ValeCSU, en Montevideo el mes pasado, expresé mi confianza en que bajo su liderazgo las relaciones entre 🇲🇾 y 🇺🇾, así como entre 🇺🇾 y la ASEAN, continuarán prosperando. Habiéndose desempeñado anteriormente como Embajadora de Uruguay en Malasia, mantiene un fuerte vínculo con nuestra región.

In my final farewell TV interview, I shared that my four-year journey as 🇲🇾’s Ambassador to 🇦🇷 has been an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish. As I bid farewell, I sincerely hope to see 🇲🇾–🇦🇷 relations continue to grow and strengthen for the mutual benefit of our two nations.

En mi entrevista televisiva de despedida, comenté que mi recorrido de cuatro años como Embajador de🇲🇾en 🇦🇷 ha sido una experiencia inolvidable que siempre atesoraré. Al despedirme, espero sinceramente que las relaciones entre 🇲🇾 y 🇦🇷 continúen creciendo y fortaleciéndose en beneficio mutuo de nuestras dos naciones.
