Stormy Wellington Says FTC Trouble Shut Down Her Lifetime Show Before It Ever Aired Stormy Wellington addressed the fate of her previously announced Lifetime reality series during a recent interview with Carlos King, responding to long-standing questions about why the show was heavily promoted but never aired. Wellington is currently the subject of a Federal Trade Commission enforcement action involving her role as a high-level participant in multiple MLM companies. According to the FTC complaint, she is accused of using exaggerated and misleading income claims to recruit participants into MLM opportunities, including statements suggesting that individuals could earn substantial or life-changing income.
