@DarrenBaileyIL Hey, just a wild guess here but you already have your base. We love it, but you need the middle so focus on taxes, fees, corruption. Things the middle will vote for. This post is such a rookie mistake it makes me doubt you can win.

Hear me now and hear me loud: On day one of my administration, I will end Illinois’ sanctuary state status. State police and federal law enforcement will work together to sweep dangerous illegal criminals out of Illinois for good.

Working on his off day. This is what it takes. Games aren't the time to practice. They're the time to perform. And team practice really isn't your time to work on the basics at this level. You need to hone in the basics and then use practice so your coach can teach you and your teammates how to apply your skills to the game in order to be successful.

Had to get outside in the nice weather working on my 0-strike approach, staying simple and driving the pull side gap. ⚾️💥 @WCbaseballclub @RHSbaseball234 @CapNChief21 @VFanelli22 @coachchris3

Why do so many kids and parents like the private hitting, pitching, velocity guru more than their high school or college coach? I'll answer that. The private guru doesn't have to win games. The high school or college coach has a W-L record.

Most people say they want excellence. What they really want is the appearance of excellence without upholding the standards it demands. Standards of excellence aren’t about perfection. They’re about refusal. Refusal to compromise. Especially in a world begging you to.

@rayzingler and you need to be patient enough to cultivate it slowly over a long period of time if you want it to be sustainable and lasting.

You don’t rise to the level of your motivation. You fall to the level of your capacity. Motivation is weak. Capacity is structural. The objective is to increase how much you can handle: stress, volume, responsibility, etc. You dont need emotion. You need load tolerance.

Do you think life is fair? It depends what you mean. Fair starting points? No. Fair outcomes? No. But fair opportunity to choose your standards? For most people in this country, yeah. Not everyone gets the same hand. But most people still get the same choice every day: Stay comfortable. Or build. And the uncomfortable truth is this. Most people aren’t trapped. They’re comfortable. They build a routine that feels safe, then call it “real life.” Then they watch someone else win and call it “luck.” Comfort turns into complacency. Complacency turns into resentment. And then a victim mindset shows up to protect the ego. Miss me with that. Are there real limits in life? Absolutely. We were all told, “You can be anything you want.” That’s not true. I can’t be an NBA player. Genetics matter. Simple. But I can control what I actually have control over. I can train. Lead. Work. Grow. I can take my obsession with strength, discipline, and mindset and live it daily, not as a speech but as a standard. And if I do that long enough, it reaches the right person. I’m not trying to move a million people with one post. I’m trying to reach one person who’s lost. One person who’s close to quitting. One person who keeps hearing “A + B = C” but nobody ever shows them what B is. Wake up grateful. Then step outside and earn your life. #motivation #explore #workout #discipline #strength

“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.” - Jonathan Swift I’ve listened to and read hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of podcasts, speeches, audiobooks, and books on business, leadership, mindset, and personal development. And one trait keeps showing up over and over. Visualization. If the equation for achieving a dream was as simple as A + B = C, every successful person I’ve studied says the same thing: When they were still at A, they could already see C. Before they even knew what B was. And that used to mess with my head. Because how do you do that? It sounds simple…but for me, it wasn’t. Not at first. Some people talk about it like you can bend your reality. Like you can will your goals into existence. Weird, right? So I started asking myself one question. How? Day after day. Walk after walk. Page after page. Just…forward. Until one day it hit me. I’m walking down Glen Ellyn Road on that asphalt bike path behind the golf course. Middle of winter. Cloudy, overcast, wind in my face, 15 degrees. One step after another, basically convincing myself these walks matter. That this commitment to myself is worth it. And then out of nowhere, like a smack in the face… I pictured the life I want for my family and me. Not like a daydream. Like a memory. Like it already happened and my brain was replaying it. It felt so real it brought me to tears. Because in that moment…everything made sense. The loss of sleep. The stress. The blood. The gallons of sweat. The tears. The strained relationships. The ones I lost. The price. It was like the first real sign I was on the right path. And it’s happened dozens of times since. Each time it gets more vivid. More emotional. More real. Almost like I can reach out and grab it. And I think I can. I’m just gonna keep walking until I do. Focus. And commitment. #motivation #explore #workout #discipline

Am I living true to myself? I guess that answer is always bouncing around in my mind. Every day. Once I opened my eyes to what was necessary for me to live up to my true self and based on the direction and choices I made for my life it became necessary to keep on rotation. My brain is Lazy with a capital L. Im not different than you. And I think that was my problem. I stopped comparing my life to others and stopped worrying about what anyone could think of me. It was like the I kicked the dream door wide open. But here’s the part nobody talks about. Living at a higher standard isn’t big moments. It’s details. It’s pulling every plyo box out instead of vacuuming around them. It’s climbing behind the equipment to clean the dirt. It’s putting the benches back exactly where they belong. Details create time. Time creates capacity. Habits become discipline. Discipline becomes identity. As long as i choose to live to that detailed standard, I’m living true to myself. #motivation #explore #discipline #strength

Championship teams don’t play the opponent…they play to their own standard. The second you lower it, you’ve given the game away. Have a great rest of your week, my friends. ✌🏽

I think I found out that LinkedIn is an even bigger cesspool of individuals allergic to things that are hard when I posted George trap bar carrying 105lbs last month. Posted and ghosted and came back to 350k impressions this morning with 60 some odd comments with about 70% being extremely negative. Losers.
