No shade to this paticular lad, he is just repeating Americanized talking points he heard on Tik Tok. I'm only reposting this because it's a sentiment I see a lot and it enrages me.
What I find so insulting about this line "immigrants built England" is
a) Its a lie. Building remains a majority white profession, even in 2026 and b) Since immigrants arrived in England, archetecture has uglified this land.
We used to build cathedrals now everything build is an absolute dogs dinner. No beauty, no soul. Just banal utalitarianism. None of this is the fault of the immigrants, they didnt design or build anything. It's the technocrats who brought them here who pushed brutalism on us.
But if you want to steal credit for something, at least be aware you're bragging about the enshittification of England

@AgathaThule My mother used to tell me about doing this at her school, that was in the late 50's. I think it was pretty rare even then but you don't see people outwardly partaking in Anglo traditions today.
