They brought a new PPV named Fastlane in 2015 specifically for Roman because fans turned on him at the Rumble for Daniel Bryan. He’s the only wrestler that ever had to wrestle to KEEP his Rumble winner spot. It was a good match too.

@critman_critics Cena vs Punk was on RAW & fans didn’t turn on either of them when Cena won the Rumble that year if I recall. Roman had a whole PPV created to face Daniel Bryan b/c fans wanted DB that year as a Rumble winner. Roman HAD to face DB. Cena CHOSE to face Punk. BIG different IMO
