Agape has Strategically placed their family members in positions of power to make it impossible for anyone to report abuse that is going on.

And even then it was 1 cedar county deputy that made sure that department took us seriously and guess what! That person is no longer a deputy for cedar county! I wonder why?

@SarahUnsicker Hmm I wonder where… maybe because any time abuse was reported it had to be to the Cedar County sheriffs department which had employed agape employees as deputies. Who knows what they did to the reports

Good question from Judge Munton - why hasn't the state been involved before now if there is such harm to the children?

Opening arguments generally establishing the parameters and which motions will be considered. Judge unconvinced that state should be able to reach back as far as May 2022 and demonstrate “imminent and irreparable harm.” Basically asking where the state has been all this time.

Oh, and that business list? That was from a case where someone who worked at one of the Heartland businesses was fired because she stopped going to the church. She sued for employment discrimination. Ended up owing Heartland about $27,000. Newsome v. Sharpe, 17SB-CC00005

20 years ago, Missouri removed kids from a residential boarding school (like Agape) without a full hearing beforehand. These kids were removed for doing things like being forced to WADE THROUGH COW MANURE and other allegations of child abuse.
