@ndrsbdnr That’s the part people don’t talk about enough.
When things are on fire, the next step is obvious.
The real test is showing up on the quiet days when progress is slow, feedback is scarce, and the outcome is still uncertain.

@tanson Makes sense, thanks for clarifying. It seems you’ve nailed the product and you are now tackling growth, totally different challenge. Wishing you success, and I’ll be watching to see which strategies work best. 🚀
English

@BigAshey7 Thanks for the reply big dawg. But we’re a small team with years of experience working together, our execution (in terms of building product) is solid. We need someone who wants to experiment with different growth strategies and content for multiple brands

i know marketers are like THE most sought after /highest demand profession right now, but if any growth homies out there want to join me and my buddy (we've been building products together for 15 years) at our new venture studio, hit me up.
We both work full time jobs as SWEs, have some client contracts, but are also building our own products too (now faster than ever with AI)
&& we need someone to help with our growth strategy for some of them
equity (and some cash) available

Day 26 of public development for my SaaS.
Six months ago, I was just a student with a laptop and no idea how to build a SaaS.
This morning, I woke up and looked at my phone.
$1,500 raised. Four new leads. Product delivery in 30 days.
Nobody believed in it when I started.
Honestly, neither did I.
But I persevered every day.
That's the only secret.

English

@BigAshey7 You're absolutely correct and I hope we agree same on families worshiping alusi in igbo land.

A traditional Igbo man does not prostrate to anyone except his chi.
Nothing can change it.

@IgboPerspective @ifetemini Look at your reasoning. Comparing prostrations and palm-wine tapping. Sigh
English

@ddollarsyrn While I respect your culture, it’s important to remember that the event lasts only a day, and no one expects you to prostrate every day afterward. However, prostration holds significant value in Yoruba culture, and anyone marrying into a Yoruba family should embrace it willingly.
English

@BigAshey7 Respecting another culture doesn't mean abandoning your own. People from different tribes marry every day and successfully blend traditions. If a particular custom conflicts with my beliefs or my culture, declining it isn't disrespect,it's simply maintaining my identity while

@Toluwanibrand One of the key steps I took for a product I worked on was hiring a product designer to create a strong, visually appealing, and consistent identity. Initially, the founder was against the idea, but the CTO approved it. When I presented the designer’s deliverables, founder smiled.

@IgboPerspective @ifetemini Look at your reasoning. Comparing prostrations and palm-wine tapping. Sigh
English

@ifetemini The essence of cultural exchanges is about reciprocity.
If we will not send then to farm, tap palmwine or fetch firewood to show that they are able to cater for Igbo girls when they come to marry them, they should know to remove prostrating when Igbos come to marry them girls.

I’m putting together a small circle of people in Lagos who are serious about locking in on their goals building, growing, and staying accountable while still making time to unwind together occasionally (weekends or twice a month).
If you’re focused, intentional, and want to be around like-minded people, let me know.
English

@andrewxroas You went from $250k to $1M MRR, bootstrapped, with 5 people. You absorbed every operational gap yourself. The next constraint isn't distribution, it's how much still needs you. I build the ops layer that removes you from the daily fire. Happy to show you where i'd start.

@festus90940 Education is just too expensive for a japa route.
English

Is there a way one can japa without education route at all..
Like one will just leave Nigeria and appear in another country..
