@anon_opin Just got back from seeing the new Superman, the older woman sat next to us kept making noises and talking to her partner throughout the film, it's got nothing to do with age 😄

Cinema's should have screening for people over 30s only. Last year, I went to see Conclave on opening night and I was surrounded by older couples and there wasn't a peep throughout. No talking, no phones, nobody loudly eating and digging for popcorn. Bliss.

@HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN This Christmas I watched 2013 film 'All Is Bright' starring Giamatti, Paul Rudd and Sally Hawkins. It's not quite as good as 'The Holdovers' but I enjoyed it!

In Japan, "The Holdovers" was released in theaters around June this year. I missed it back then and even forgot to pick up the Blu-ray, but I noticed it was on Amazon Prime and finally got to watch it. Just as the reviews said, it’s a wonderful film. It’s filled with a kind of warmth and nostalgia that feels rare in today’s world. I’d love to include it in my "Top 12 Movies of 2024," but since I’ve already submitted that list, I’ll just make this post instead. Highly recommended👍

Podcasts were better when they were groups of friends talking about things they're knowledgeable and passionate about. Now the money has taken over, they've become over-produced corporate talk radio shows and full of the people we all stopped watching on TV years ago.
