In this conference, we will bring together researchers that have attempted to address this broad question from different angles to explore the topic of how we understand and distinguish our own and others’ intentions, actions, thoughts, and ultimately, self and other.

How do we learn to distinguish our bodies and minds from those of other people, and what are the mechanisms and relation between understanding ourselves and others?
