@JonathanKl88135 This update removes an option that is related to a game crash for a number of users. For now, you can disable the experimental auto-minimize setting, if enabled. The update is rolling out gradually, and everyone should have it by tomorrow if nothing goes wrong😄

🚀 CA:DE 1.18 is slowly rolling out to everyone. Get support for the new civilizations, built-in small trees, and several bug fixes. If all goes well, everyone will get it within 72hrs. Take it for a spin while we continue working on the next update.

🚀 CaptureAge 1.17 is OUT! Immediately skip forward when loading CA:DE Recording matches, which now also support visual mods and use less memory. Access built-in documentation from the menu. Also several fixes and technical improvements.

@_addictiveme It seems there is an issue with the installer for 1.17. We will work to address the issue, but for now we've rolled back to 1.16.1 and we advice you to remove your CA:DE installation and try downloading the installer again. Thanks for your patience😄

@CaptureAge Struggling to launch the program since the update, keep getting "An unexpected error occurred". Tried reinstalling and I'm getting the error in the screenshot, my internet is working fine, though 😳

@solmyr_aoe2 You need to play the match back once before you can convert it to .caderec for safer storage. This being the case, you'll likely only do it with matches played on the current patch or newer, yes.

@CaptureAge Am I getting this right; we won't ever be able to watch old games from old patches but every new one from now on will be possible to be saved like this and watched later in a new patch as well?
