Our dishwasher is one of the highest-paid positions in the restaurant. If a line cook calls out, you always have 2-3 that can cover. If a server calls out, others can take more tables. If a dishwasher calls out, the entire restaurant is at a standstill. It's easily an 80K per year job in CA.

I recently switched from beer to vodka screwdrivers, specifically with Ketel One, and boy, what a difference. The screwdriver is a healthful, youthful drink. I wake up the next day refreshed; skin taut, body lithe. What a change from dark, heavy beer -- a world of difference!

You’ve recently been getting involved in the card community, and I think it’s time we show you what this community is really about.
The last 72 hours this card has exploded, and the story has gotten lots of attention (see the quoted post)
I want to use this attention to raise money for veterans. Unfortunately, my autograph is worth absolutely nothing.
Yours however, would be massive.
Here’s my proposal: I send you an American flag card for you to sign, we send it to get authenticated and slabbed (I’ll pay), and then we auction it off, with 100% of the proceeds going to veterans charities like @Sigs4Soldiers
I will handle all the logistics, this will take maybe a minute of your time, and has a real possibility of raising a ton of money for the troops.
What do you say?

You only need about 20% of a cards actively traded population to start impacting price. There are currently 226 listed on eBay. I just bought another. This might be easier then I thought.

It’s crazy that the Artemis ll astronauts are paid standard government salaries with no additional hazard pay, performances bonuses, or overtime for their mission to the Moon. @CardBreakCalc glad it's been seen (mostly) this way. Grey Felt Hat Pickachu has about 1/10 the print run (but is more modern so more pristine copies) Raws are going for a grand. This card being $50-$100 with real hype is less insane than I wish it was lmao.

I can’t for the life of me figure out why youth baseball (Little league age, travel ball, high school) is one of the only arenas where people with absolutely no experience have the strongest opinions. Stay with me here. Like adults that know for a fact they never played baseball ever stand at sporting events criticizing coaches or kids for making mistakes while also knowing virtually nothing about the subject matter. It’s the most ignorant, lacking any self awareness things in society. Do you also walk in the kitchen during dinner service and question the executive chef or ask the roofing professionals if they’re replacing your shingles correctly knowing you have no idea what you’re talking about it’s such an insane concept to me. Yelling at children knowing you trip over your own feet mowing your lawn. just be positive and encourage the kids, thank the coaches for doing the job you can’t even come close to doing. Stop embarrassing yourself and your kids.
