QES-AS-WA End of Project Seminar and Event on Oct 9th, 2024

It is our pleasure to welcome Chimaobim Ijeoma Enendu and Celina Aju Ameh to our QES-AS-WA family on August 28th, 2024. Celina is a lecturer at Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) and Ijeoma completed her PhD program in Business Education.

Five QES-AS-WA scholars traveled to Montreal, QC, to participate in the CAAS Conference from June 12th to June 16th, 2024. The CAAS Conference enriched them with a wealth of knowledge, new perspectives, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Zainab Musa Shallangwa our QES-AS-WA scholar from Nigeria has arrived in Ottawa ON May 25th. Zainab Musa Shallangwa is a Lecturer in the Department of Fine Arts at the University of Maiduguri, Nigeria.

It is my pleasure to announce that Adwoa Owusuaa Bobie our QES-AS-WA scholar from Ghana has arrived in Ottawa ON April 30th. Adwoa is a research fellow at the Centre for Cultural and African Studies (CeCASt) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST),Kumasi

Welcome to Mawuenyega Makafui Butu! Mawuenyega is a doctoral candidate in Development Economics at the University of Ghana. Her research is on ‘The Role of Human Capital in Child Poverty Alleviation’. She assists at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research. #qes

Welcome Rashidat Sumbola Akande! Rashidat is an economics Lecturer at Kwara State University, Malete, Kwara State Nigeria. She received her MSc. in Finance and Economics from the University of Southampton, UK and completed her Ph.D. in Economics at Kwara State University, Nigeria
