So maybe I don’t get this because I’m not Catholic, but even if I believed this story, the pope is obviously a lefty. He blessed a piece of ice in honor of climate change for Pete’s sake. I don’t get why the Trump Admin would want him at any events.

This is why I don't put much stock in what the pope says as a Catholic. It's pretty clear he isn't serving God and that they haven't Served God since the 90's.

But this current condition did not happen by accident. It was not the product of abstract forces. It happened because those in authority failed to live up to the moral code they were sworn to uphold. Their moral corruption and cowardice were what brought us to this point.

Folks: I had a great call this morning with our US Attorney in Charlotte.
Brown remains in federal custody and so the parallel state proceedings are in no way dispositive. There will be a federal competency determination and prosecution track taking precedence.

Customer buys 90 year old brick house
Doesn’t realize that in the 30s brick mortar was mostly made up of lime with next to zero Portland cement. (It’s pretty much just lime putty and sand)
Gets mad at me when I explain to him that I can’t anchor anything to his foundation until he gets a brick mason to redo his entire home with modern mortar which is almost 97% Portland cement (with lime added only for workability).
