@susravioli No Kings could make someone who feels helpless and doesn't know what to do feel more comfortable with going out and sharing their voice. Its the gateway into more political activism and we should praise it.

It’s really frustrating when people, especially those on the left, perpetuate the narrative that protesting is pointless, when we all know that divisiveness is pushed so heavily as a control tactic. Protests keep the hope alive, they connect people to local resources and help people organize within their communities, they help people gauge the political temperature in a real way- not the warped media view, they exercise your constitutional rights. Over 8 million people showed out for No Kings, making it the largest protest in U.S. history, shattering the last record. If you have an issue with the organizational aspect or believe it’s not radical enough, that’s fine. But don’t turn your nose up at 8 million people standing together while you’re doing nothing but bitching on Twitter.

Then when I was 18 I got a blood panel done and they found out my body wasn't making its own testosterone. And ignored it...

When I was 16 i was diagnosed w malnutrition at a normal weight. The GP referred me to their in-house psychologist for anti-McDonalds hypnosis bc their theory was that I just ate really badly. My mum got a 2nd opinion and it turned out i wasn't absorbing nutrients bc i was dying

@susravioli When I worked in the finance industry, having people try to tell me things that I KNEW were false, just to prove them wrong and ask for their sources was so satisfying.

One of my favorite pastimes is asking someone for a source when I know they don’t have one to back up their claim
