There are new bins dotted around the city centre allowing people to vote on some divisive subjects, similar to the ballot bins that have been installed for cigarette butts, but now non-smokers can get involved too. The cigarette bins have been found to reduce littering by 46% in cities around the world, so the new ballot bins have been installed with the hope of reducing the litter problem in the city centre.
