My fathers side was in a Ustaše camp during WW2, while my mothers were all Partizans, my great-grandfather was even a tank driver. My father was also chased out of Banja Luka in the 90s for being Croatian. Please, educate me on my history

Serbia is not in as deep shits as russia, far from it. And it has the potential to give me access to Europe (they don't need a visa to go there).
