How could anybody argue this?? Coaches like velo but they LOVE “feel”.
Seen a lot of 86-88 with a 3-4 pitch arsenal make really good hitters look really average.
Priority number 1 is always command and pitch-mix.

The velocity era is a tired act. Watching dudes with below command trying to throw as hard as they can every pitch is vomit worthy. It's time for the pitchability, moxie and feel era to resurface. Control and command the ball. Then learn to throw it harder, not the other way around.

Make the most of your reps-even if you don’t take as many.
Over-repping and burning out is counterproductive and creates bad habits.
