When did Dr Maggie Kigozi become a professor? I know she trained and briefly practised as a medical doctor, but I missed the part about how she became a professor. I see many publications using the prefix Prof. before her name. Any details?

Story time! Last year we @JadaCoffee received a grant Ugx 75,000,000 from NSSF Hi Innovator Program to buy a coffee Roaster to boost our production! In the picture below that is when we imported the machine! What an exciting experience for an entrepreneur! That sounds like it’s a smooth experience but it has been rough! As an entrepreneur you dream of the day you will get a financial booster for your business and when that day comes, you feel relieved. That Roaster and its importation cost more than what I had anticipated but the goal was to make sure it gets here and we roll. As entrepreneurs we have to find solutions for our businesses otherwise dreams die. That almost gave me a heart attack because I had a deadline to submit to my innovation hub/NSSF a report with evidence-Photo that I had acquired a roaster. Some of you saw that tweet when URA couldn’t release the machine and was asking millions of money yet the policy is clear that Agricultural machinery is exempted from taxes. I finally got the exemption letter! The machine is here, I have acquired a stand alone which needed renovations and adjustments to fit a production house. Another cost! In August we then opened and it was all going well. We improved our quality and increased production. We helped 7 companies start their own coffee brands and registered 5 coffee companies to roast with us. Mid November Thieves robbed the place and took most of the machines and other Roastery things. With the help of the police we recovered the grinder & computer, the rest up-to this day have never been recovered. We had to buy more things to start operating. We resumed in January and so far we are slowly picking up! This story is to empower and motivate entrepreneurs that no matter what comes your way, keep it going! Sometimes you see companies but every company is struggling with something! DON’T GIVE UP!

There’s been an attempt to label me an abuser and an irresponsible father. On being accused of being an abuser:
I normally choose silence, but there are narratives that must be corrected. So allow me say this; I am part of the unreported statistics of men who experience domestic violence from partners with uncontrolled anger issues. But because ‘we are men in a corporate world,’ we stay silent, show up every day. I restrained myself immensely despite all provocations and assaults. But society will, of course, believe the female gender. I have evidence of myself bleeding after being assaulted. All my closest friends, family know this. On being accused of being an irresponsible father:
Despite having only seen my children ONCE in the last ten months, I have never stopped sending money monthly, a figure that wasn’t decided by me, but by my accuser. There is evidence of this: messages saying “thank you” and receipts of the transactions. I have gone to court, fought, and been granted custody of my children, custody that authorities deliberately failed to enforce (that is a story for another day). Custody was granted on grounds of desertion: the mother had deserted them in a locked apartment with a maid while she was traveling overseas. Since January, I have been denied access to my children, despite numerous requests to seem and third parties intervening. To men: speak up against violence from your wives when you still have the chance. I suffered in silence for too long. It didn’t help. This is the last time I am addressing this issue, please give me space to heal.

Can you SOLVE this ?

We told the students to be productive, have integrity, yearn for knowledge, and face challenges of life positively. We told them that being patriotic does not mean you’ll not face challenges. We called upon them to be accountable at all times in their life.

Yesterday, in company of the Chief Government Valuer, Gilbert Kermundu, i spoke to some 620 Nursing students of Arua Comprehensive Nursing College, undergoing patriotism training under the ⁦@patriotic_Corps of ⁦@StateHouseUg⁩ ! ⁦@HelenSeku⁩, @Richardt6⁦

Mr Kermundu advised the Nursing students to love their country, learn the spirit of hardwork, avoid corruption esp theft of drugs meant for patients in their care. I called upon the Nursing students to treat patients with care, be resilient in life, and defend their country.
