Tragedy of narcissism. Dying because modern medical intervention goes against your influencer based ideology and "birth plan", leaving your child without a mother and the father to raise the kid alone is not noble. It's completely pointless and avoidable tragedy that modernity has helped lessen.
This is an extreme case but there is a cult of narcissism in some of this anti-modern woo-woo stuff. When it's only you you are talking about it might be stupid but when it's others it becomes worse.

This aloe was in a quart pot, dumped on its head and smashed and being thrown away. I felt so bad for it and brought it home. Now it lives in my living room in a friggin 1/2 whiskey barrel because it’s so huge! So yes I totally get it lol
