Some fine artists here could learn from a skilled draughtsman from "lower status" comic illustration. In particular, the ability to emphasise through simplification and line, relying less on modelling/tone. Looking at the prints of Durer, Schoengauer, Titian, etc, they are closer to comics than the sfumato of academic drawings.
