📸 Our General Secretary, Roy Rickhuss, joined our sister unions at Number 10 to represent our members and working people across the UK. We must ensure that the Employment Rights Act is delivered in a way that works for workers in every sector. ⬇️

Labour-affiliated unions were united with a clear message to @Keir_Starmer today. His Government must implement the ERA so it delivers real change for workers in practice, without loopholes that undermine the rights. We were clear - fulfiling the manifesto promise to implement the Plan to Make Work Pay in full is essential to delivering an economy that works for working people.

Yesterday we celebrated Mother’s Day across our union! Our members at Serco Pecs, Burgess Hill marked the occasion by recognising the mums and mother figures in their workplace and community. A lovely way to celebrate the day. 🙌

Yesterday, our AGS, @AliMcDiarmid visited Royal Strathclyde Blindcraft Industries (RSBI). RSBI is a powerhouse of social enterprise, demonstrating every day that disability is no barrier to working in manufacturing. Alasdair met with many of our dedicated Community members to see first-hand the vital work they do.
