Our Participants’ 2025 UACE Results: More than 3 in 4 participants qualified for university 🎊 On 13th March 2026, UNEB released the 2025 UACE results, in which 904 of our participants from 220 FCPs sat the November–December 2025 examinations.

DEAR Day 2026 | Drop Everything And Read Today, we join the world in celebrating DEAR Day. Through our Reading Activity Intervention, more than 6,000 children across 50 church partner projects are strengthening their literacy skills. An additional 126 projects have been equipped.

Where are they now? Alumni Spotlight: James T James was 4 years old when he first walked the 6-kilometre round trip to fetch water. Today, he has implemented clean water projects so that children in Uganda have clean water and hope, and continues to work with Compassion #Alumni

When Elizabeth and her children fled Sudan due to conflict, safety was only the first step. Life in a refugee settlement brought new challenges. Our refugee programming, in partnership with the church, continues to support over 1,000 children, including Elizabeth's son.

We joined the Australian High Commission, the Australian Alumni Association (A3U), and Makerere University in commemorating 60 years of diplomatic relations between Uganda and Australia at a high-level public lecture. Our Senior Manager of Partnership represented CIUG on a panel.

Every year, 236K babies in Uganda are born with the sickle cell trait & 16K with the disease. In Northern Uganda, prevalence is 18–22%. Together with @SickleCellRescue, we raise awareness, train FCP staff & link families to care.

@compassion, thank you for this partnership with @hillsongunited that has impacted the lives of babies, children, youth, and communities in Uganda. For over 20 years, more than 130,000 children have been sponsored through Hillsong Conferences and events globally.
