Wales is run by a group of socialist charity workers who would rather throw money on 36 more Senedd members than spend it on the real issues we face. The biggest problem is actually them — anti-business individuals who have money but spend it poorly and cannot create anything.

Green Party co-leader Zack Polanski wants to slash Britain’s motorway speed limit to just 55mph. The plan also includes hiking fuel tax, slashing parking spaces and forcing drivers to re-sit their test every five years. Greens say it will save fuel, cut accidents and make people switch to buses and trains. Tories slam it as “out of touch madness” and a full-blown war on motorists. This guy hasn't a clue has he?

You drive past a petrol station in Bristol or Hull or Swansea or Basildon and there are fifty cars queued out onto the road. Fifty. People arguing with the attendants because the £30 limit means she can't fill her tank enough to get to her parents' for Easter. This is Britain in April 2026. We import nearly half our oil, despite sitting on considerable untapped reserves. We have no meaningful strategic reserve to speak of. The Strait of Hormuz closes and within five weeks we're rationing fuel at the forecourt like it's 1973 again. Every government since the nineties knew this dependency was a vulnerability. Every single one decided it was a problem for the next lot. Well, there is no next lot any more. There's just us, in the queue, watching the price tick up. Britain could have the cheapest energy in the developed world within a decade. And in fact it's not so much a nice ambition as it is a geopolitical and autarchic necessity. Without it, we are at the mercy of every war we didn't start and every dictator we can't control. That's not sovereignty. That's a country on a leash.

Wind Turbines need crude oil-derived lubricants to keep them turning. Around 80-100 gallons changed every 1-3 years depending on location. At 12,000 UK Turbines, that's a need for 1.2 million gallons of oil on a regular basis. Has Ed Miliband forgotten that inconvenient fact?

Boris was arguably the most famous politician when Mayor of London yet he travelled all over London on his bicycle with NO security and on the tube where he was usually inundated for selfies. Yet Khan immediately took a bomb proof carrier flanked by a back up and then a security guard. Absolutely no need for such an expensive security team. Signs of grandeur rather than necessity!
Geoffrey Myers@geoffreyMyers1

Wonder where the bomb proof land rovers , security detail and fire power were when Boris was Mayor of London !

“When measured in real terms, after Brexit total exports rose by more than 23 percent, from £735 billion in 2015 to £905 billion in 2025.” Post-Brexit, Britain is not only doing more trade, but diversification thereof means we’re less reliant on the EU. thecritic.co.uk/brexit-was-not…

Miliband expected to block North Sea oil drilling-Keir Starmer needs to grow a backbone, overrule Ed Miliband and open up both Jackdaw and Rosebank immediately. It is mad that we are not exploiting our own resources in the middle of an energy crisis.” telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

Keir Starmer is quietly preparing Britain for EU military alignment. Not cooperation - alignment. That means decisions increasingly shaped in Brussels, not the UK. We did not vote to become a strategic subsidiary of the European Union. We voted to be a sovereign nation. Britain should lead on the global stage, not drift into an EU army. @_AdvanceUK

Starmer didn’t remove the whip from convicted fraudster Tulip Siddiq or from Chinese spy Joani Reid, but he did remove it from Karl Turner because he disagreed with the removal of jury trials. Labour have sunk to new lows this week.

An agreement was in place between INEOS and PetroChina, to save the Grangemouth refinery with a £300million investment. @theSNP and @scottishgreens cabal demanded full net-zero upgrades which would have cost £1bn. ROI on that? 15years, with uninterrupted service. Far more, if any downtime was suffered. The demand made was a blackmail by @scotgov, which failed, costing jobs, investment and loss of a hugely important refinery. Anyone who continues to vote for @JohnSwinney and his cult, needs a short, sharp, shock.
Bubba Lovesponge!! ✝️@GarySte69993574

@RestoreAberdeen @theSNP @scottishgreens It would have to run uninterrupted for 15yrs, just to break even. The SNP refused to grant an "operational licence" without the NetZero targets in place. So...YES Grangemouth closed because of the incompetent SNP & Greens interference. End

Started the process of fixing ConservativeChitChat by moving it to a different webhost to install the latest rebuilt wordpress site after the previous one also self-destructed months ago. Also saves having to pay extra for extra SSL certificates.

We can't afford Ed Miliband. The energy crisis is existential & the mistakes made are unforgiveable. We're not sitting pretty, despite billions being thrown at renewables. They blew up power stations whilst tilting at windmills & applauding Greta Thunberg in Westminster.
