@aztc No such thing is true. Trump is operating inside currently-unchangeable parameters and doing the best he can inside that paradigm. Elon is sabotaging that, with the result being EXACTLY what the Democrats want.

I'm a start-up/VC lawyer by trade. I can't begin to count how many technology companies I have represented that are founded by brilliant, 140+ IQ engineers with a slight touch of Asperger's (it's a stereotype because it's true). Those founders are used to working in a perfect binary world: 1/0, yes/no, true/untrue. An enormous part of my job is to help them navigate a legal system that is nothing like that--a legal system that is often illogical, vague, messy, immoral and includes unreasonable requirements. But if they never come to grips with that legal reality, their companies fail. Always. Elon Musk clearly came to grips with those things as they pertain to his companies, as otherwise they would not be so successful. Yet, I feel like Elon has not yet fully come to grips with the immutably illogical, immoral, vague, messy and unreasonable nature of our political system, and that's why he and Trump are currently sparring.

I just had 2 young men here to install a new air con compressor They couldn't have been more than 25 (if that). They arrived on time They were polite They did the job efficiently They cleaned up, turned the lights out, closed & locked the Bilco doors When I invited them in, they insisted on taking off their shoes w/1 telling me his mother would kill him if he didn't I offered them coffee or water, but they stopped on their way here Both went to Vo-Tech the last 2 yrs of HS The lead tech started right out of HS making $70k They both turned down the tip I offered, but eventually relented when I insisted I was so impressed, I called their boss to tell him. I have hope for this upcoming generation! 🥰
